Sherlock

Just about to watch series 1 episode 2 of Sherlock, The episode name is called "The Blind Baker". This is the episode after the 1st One we watched in class.

Because Sir told me too.

I am uploading my blogger as I am going to buy the Sherlock series from Amazon from £5 because I want to get as serious with my blog just like Katie Fox, you are an insperation.

My Crime Drama Pitch

Pitching Ideas for a New Crime Drama

Name:  Mind and Body

Type of Crime Drama:
Forensic and Investigative such as; CSI and Sherlock mixed together.

Characters:
Duo
Two main characters; a female and a male.
Each known from other television programs been in, not big shows but they will be noticeable actors.

Main actress - Anti hero.  A female version of Sherlock. She is outgoing but also smart and intelligent. (Long Wavy brown hair, Blue eyes and a very nice slim body)

Main actor – Troubled hero. (Had a bad past) Knows everything about technology and works everything out easily with some type of techno device. (Tanned skin, Green eyes and dark brown combed hair that is also got a slim body. Tall as well)

Structure of Show
Serial: 18 Episodes in each series. 50 minutes with one break in the middle, At the end always two episodes attached together with 100 minutes long, all the episodes add clues to the end of the series.

Typical Narrative
Describe what happens in your show, Restrictive (Closed) / Omniscient (Open)

The show starts with a scene should of a crime, then they have to find out how this happened which involves someone getting hurt then they have to find out the murderer through clues and there are other type of emotions going on though throughout the episodes which leads in to crime between each other. But, at the end of each series they find the killer.

Setting
The setting of the crime drama is in the posh parts of London which includes main tourist sites such as Big Ben, London Eye on a daily routine as their base is right around the corner.

Style
Intelligent, Glamorous but Grotty at some episodes to but mainly based in a nice part of London.

Scheduling
Broadcast on Thursday nights at 9oclock on ITV channel once a week. Replays on ITV1 on Sunday 9am and 9pm. Also, has it own website if you miss a episode you can watch it online. It will be a post watershed crime drama which brings it over 9pm

Target Audience
My audience is from the age 14 and below 50 both female and male which can easily watch it as it isn’t only any special channel that only some TV’s have. (A,B,C1, C2, D,E)

Similar Shows:
Which could be comparable? This show could compare to CSI: Miami as they have a lot of the same things in it but also involved intelligence in it as well.

USP: 
 What makes your drama different? My drama is different from others as it involves a range of all main subjects because normally a show only focuses on one thing such as Sherlock which bases on just the mind of intelligence but my show bases on Technology and the mind and also involved two main characters with two different sex main protagonists which makes it different as most people has one main character or 5 main characters.
